The Koforidua Technical University Clinic, also known as KTU Clinic was commissioned in the year 2000. It is officially owned by the Koforidua Technical University (formerly Koforidua Polytechnic). The Clinic was established with the sole objective to cater for the health needs of members of the then Polytechnic community (ie. students, staff members and their spouses and wards).

The facility started as a first-aid compartment and was later upgraded to a sick bay with a bed capacity of two (2), a dressing room and a dispensary. As the institution grew, the facility was further expanded to the status of a clinic to complement the growing health needs of the University.
